‘Mad Men’ Cast Christina Hendricks Goes Brunette For John Slattery? ‘God’s Pocket’ Star Relives Memories Of Philip Seymour Hoffman

"Mad Men" cast Christina Hendricks went brunette for a film with John Slattery as the "God's Pocket" star relives memories of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman who died of prescription drug overdose in February this year.

On Thursday, "Mad Men" cast Christina Hendricks was supported by her colleagues, Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss and the hit show's creator, Matthew Weiner, during the premiere of "God's Pocket" at Los Angeles County Museum of Arts in Los Angeles, according to JustJared.com.

The 38-year-old looked beautiful during red carpet event in a Jenny Packham black dress that contrasted with her fiery ginger hair.

In an interview, the actress weighed in on the performance of Philip Seymour Hoffman in what turned out to be his last film.

"Mad Men" cast Christina Hendricks told E! News that working with the Academy award winner "was extraordinary" and the film was "one of the best environments and situations you can have, so it was the best. It's what you would imagine."

In "God's Pocket," Philip Seymour Hoffman is Mickey who lives in a poor neighborhood called God's Pocket with Jeanie, played by "Mad Men" cast Christina Hendricks. However, when his stepson dies in an accident at a workplace, Mickey's life unravels with his mounting debts, an ever disgruntled wife and the body of his stepson which he couldn't bury.

Christina Hendricks also shared to E! her experience working with John Slattery, who plays Roger Sterling in "Mad Men," saying that she would be shooting a YouTube video in his backyard if he just asks "but this ended up being a lot better."

On the other hand, John Slattery recalled that working with the late great actor was one of his most treasured moments as an actor and director. "When you get a chance to work with somebody like that, you can't believe how lucky you are," he said.
