Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake Duet ‘Love Never Felt So Good’ Heads To Billboard Hot 100? ‘Xscape’ Better Than King Of Pop’s First Posthumous Album

Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake's duet "Love Never Felt So Good" is expected to climb up in this week's Hot 100 as fans and critics alike agree that "Xscape" is better than the King of Pop's first posthumous self-titled album.

Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake's duet "Love Never Felt So Good" will be fueled by the solid initial airplay and sales as well as streaming activity, which also factors into its rankings, Billboard said.

The track is not yet available on subscription services across the board but it already has 4.45 million hits on the Vevo official site, excluding other user-contributed YouTube clips.

According to Billboard, Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake's duet "Love Never Felt So Good" will be his second posthumous track to enter the Hot 100, after the "Hold My Hand" duet with Akon, from the self-titled posthumous album "Michael," which peaked at 39th in January of 2011.

Overall, it's going to be Michael Jackson's 49th entry into the Hot 100 and landed at the No. 1 spot 13 times, a record for solo male tracks. In contrast, the Beatles only managed to land at the top 20 times while Mariah Carey had 18 No. 1 songs.

Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake's duet "Love Never Felt So Good" is included in the eight-track album "Xscape" which is set to new music from J-Roc, Timbaland, Stargate, Rodney Jerkins and John McClain.

The track is expected to have hit 60,000 downloads by May 4, representing three days of sales after it reached retailers on May 1.

Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake's duet "Love Never Felt So Good" was far and wide better than the the self-titled album "Michael," wrote Jon OBrien for Yahoo Contributor Network.  "Whereas the first album was a "poorly cobbled-together cash-in," the "Xscape" sounds "like it's going to be a much more authentic affair."

"Indeed, the classy disco-soul of 'Love Never Felt So Good' could easily have been lifted from 'Off The Wall' or 'Thriller,'" he added.
