It was previously reported that Zac Efron's rehab reason worried his friends, his former girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, and even ‘Glee' star Lea Michele whose boyfriend Cory Monteith passed away due to accidental overdose.

Apart from those celebrities, Zac Efron's rehab reason has likewise reached Tom Cruise. Like Efron, the 51-year-old actor also became exposed to the glare of publicity at a young age when his 1983 film ‘Risky Business' was released.

As per the 26-year-old former Disney Star, he looks up to Cruise and meets up with him from time to time to seek advice. Nonetheless, he did not detail the advice he got from Katie Holmes' former husband.

"I won't talk specifically about those conversations but I think they were pretty candid and common sense driven," he explained to news.com.au.

The ‘Neighbors' actor offers several steps as to how he can overcome his struggles: "You really have to take into account what your place is, how you can shape that to what you want it to be in the future and what the steps are to get there."

Apart from relying on Cruise, the ‘Safe Haven' star is similarly a regular attendee of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Fans of the young star are hoping that he'll be able to completely recover and that Zac Efron's rehab reason won't continue to jeopardize his career.
