In an interview with Us Magazine, the 'Material Girls' actress hints that she isn't closing her doors for Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie back together news to come true. However, she likewise emphasizes that there is no need to take things very quick.

"We're not in a rush for anything. So we're just trying to enjoy our lives and figure out what makes us happy and it's working for us," she said. Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have been married for three years. They have a two-year-old son named Luca who is reportedly the sole reason why they are determined to be friends despite the separation.

"I don't think Mike would ever go anywhere. I mean, we are really dedicated to taking care of Luca, and we're really good friends who spend a lot of time together," said the blonde beauty.

As opposed to other celebrities who resort to saying unpleasant things about their partners, the 'So Yesterday' songstress feels confident that no name-calling will take place: "We have Luca as our main priority, but we do care a lot about each other. We're adults and we're making our way through life. Sometimes you do that together and apart and we're gonna be and we're going to do it in the most peaceful way possible."

The 26-year-old mom also remains silent about her former beau Aaron Carter's love confessions. In a series of Twitter posts, the 'I'm All About You' singer admits that he still loves Duff and will do anything to get her back.

"I don't know who she is today, she doesn't know who I am today, but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong," said Carter in an interview with Entertainment Tonight's Rob Marciano.
