"Amazing Spider-Man 2" actor Andrew Garfield talks about filming love scenes with his girlfriend Emma Stone and calls her "terrifyingly amazing"! Watch the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" movie trailer below!

YourTango asked Andrew Garfield what it's like to lock lips with his real-life girlfriend Emma Stone in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

"I'm doing love scenes with Emma and she's terrifyingly amazing," he responded.

He also commented on the love story between his character Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Emma Stone's character Gwen Stacy.

"One of the great touches on these stereotypically big films is that there is intimacy. Real intimacy. You forget there is a camera rolling. You are in Union Square seeing the woman you love. These are the moments I cherish. I go home thinking, 'We just lived that great moment,'" he said.

The Spider-Man actor added: "There is a deepening of love for Peter and Gwen in this sequel."

Andrew Garfield sounds like a true romantic!

In March, Andrew and Emma joked with Australia's The Project when they were asked why there was so much kissing between their characters in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," Us Weekly reports

"It's icky," Stone, 25, teased.

Garfield, 30, joked: "It's pretty gross."

Andrew Garfield also said that his girlfriend Emma Stone approved how his package looked in the skintight Spider-Man suit while on set.

"It takes a lot of consideration because you don't want it to be overwhelming and also you don't want it to be underwhelming," Garfield said to The Project. "You don't want it to intimidate and you don't want it to the opposite of intimidate."

"So, yes there is thought," he continued, "but ultimately you have to trust that what you have is enough."

Garfield added: "I had one focus group -- and that focus group was Emma. She approved."

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have been dating ever since they met on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man" in 2011. They currently live together in NYC.
