The Dawn of The Planet of The Apes trailer has been released! The first full-length video showcases the primates vs. humans in its battle for survival this week. However, the trailer didn’t reveal much about the film’s story limiting it to the amazing graphics only.

“10 years from now, Caesar tries to maintain order over a growing nation of genetically evolved apes who are threatened by a band of humans in San Francisco, survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade and a half earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.”

The film picks up from the events that happened on the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.” The trailer features the havoc on humans when simian flu spreads, creating major trust issues between apes and humans, showing shots of an apocalyptic North America

The film is the sequel to “The Rise of the Planet of the Apes” released in 2011. Andy Serkis will return as Caesar, the super smart primate, who’s trying to maintain peace between the apes and the humans.

The “Dark Knight Rises” star Gary Oldman is also in the movie, the villain, a vengeful human named Dreyfus, who’s determined to conquer Earth under any circumstances.

The film which will hit theaters on summer, July 11 will also feature stars like, well-known stuntman Terry Notary reprising his role as Caesar’s (Serkis) hairless chimpanzee best friend, Rocket. Karin Konoval is also back as Caesar’s trusted orangutan best friend, Maurice.

Other cast includes Judy Greer, playing Caesar’s wife, Cornelia. The film will also feature Caesar and Cornelia’s teenage son, River, played by Nick Thurston. Toby Kebbell will replace Christopher Gordon who previously played the role of Koba, Caesar’s rival. The human protagonists on the film will include Keri Russell, Jason Clarke and Kodi Smit-McPhee, the family that Caesar encounter and will eventually work with.
