More characters are bound to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One popular name is Black Panther.

The character is an African monarch and one actor that is most requested for the role is recent Oscar Best Actor nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor. From a slave to a ruler - super one at that! Would it happen? Collider has teased the idea to the actor, and it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Collider: "I've never had a conversation with anybody about it, in terms of the 'big cheeses' [laughs]. So I don't know. But definitely I'm a huge fan of all that, so that would definitely be stuff I'd be interested in."

The Ejiofor as T'Challa (Black Panther's real name) rumors heightened when a tweet by El Mayimbe of Latino Post claimed that Black Panther was in the cover of Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue. Ejiofor was there along with Idris Elba, Chad Boseman and Michael B. Jordan.

Will Black Panther appear?

Yahoo movies UK has an answer: "Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who seems to have been a one-man news outlet for all things Marvel in recent weeks, has not long since put rest to speculation that a movie of Black Panther is indeed in active development - although he doesn't give an estimated time of arrival.

Feige said a Black Panther movie is "absolutely in development... I don't know when it will be exactly, but we have plans to bring him to life someday."

A Black Panther movie is something fans have been clamouring for ever since the character's home country, fictional African nation Wakanda, popped up on a map in an 'Iron Man 2' Easter egg."

It might even come sooner than we think. Sometime May 1, 2016. From JoBlo:

 "There will be 3 different versions of Ultron throughout the movie. His original state is very rudimentary, but, as he does in the comics, Ultron is constantly upgrading. He is coated in Vibranium and spends the film seeking out more of the raw material to continue his 'upgrades.'"

If Ultron tries to invade Wakanda to obtain Vibranium, he will have to face T'Challa. This is an angle that should be explored.
