Ridley Scott Halo Casting News: The first actor was cast in Ridley Scott's Halo Project. 

Mike Colter is set to star in Sergio Mimica-Gezzan's new chaptered "Halo."

"The Good Wife" and "The Following" actor Mike Colter has signed on for the lead role in the Ridley Scott-produced Halo digital feature

Ridley Scott's upcoming Halo project cast its first actor and leaked a character bio.Colter will play the role of Marlowe.

Mike Colter, best known for his roles in The Good Wife and The Following, will play Marlowe, a soldier in a futuristic army who has doubts about his commanding officers in Director Ridley Scott's Digital Feature, Halo "Digital Feature"   Colter also appeared in Clint Eastwood's "Million Dollar Baby," Kathryn Bigelow's "Zero Dark Thirty," and the Angelina Jolie movie "Salt."

343 Industries, Xbox Entertainment Studios and Scott Free Productions are behind the live-action project. The screenplay for Halo will be written by Paul Scheuring, who created Prison Break. It will be directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan who made Battlestar Galactica.

Halo is based on the video game.

No word yet on Halo's release yet, but Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn webseries is aiming for a release before the end of 2014. This will be in addition to the live-action series that Steven Spielberg is producing for Xbox One.
