‘The Blacklist’ Season 2 Spoilers: Amir Arison Joins James Spader As Series Regular; Finale Scores High In Ratings Along With ‘The Voice’

"The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers are have been dished out and it seems Amir Arison will get a regular gig as he joins James Spader in the hit NBC series. Meanwhile, the network scored big after ruling the ratings in the 18-49 demographic.

Amir Arison will reprise his role as Aram Mojtabai and the show's producers will even expand his role further by promoting him to a series regular from recurring guest star, according to "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers reported by Entertainment Focus.

The decision could be prompted because Amir Arison "often stole the scenes he was in" during the 18 episodes he appeared on the show.

Series creator Joh Bokenkamp also dished out some "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers as he said that they will try to tackle Elizabeth Keen's story.

"She's not really Elizabeth or Keen, so her identity and what she wants to become is going to be one of the most exciting things about Season 2," he told TV Guide.

However, Raymond Reddington told Elizabeth that she would be endangering her life if she continues to try to find her father's identity, but she's not about to stop now that Tom has told her that her father is alive.

The "Blacklist" finale scored very high in the ratings with 10.4 million viewers that it only trailed the always popular "The Voice" in the adults 18-49 demographic for the Big 4 networks, Futon Critic said per Nielsen Media Research.

The website also said that NBC won the traditional 2013-14 primetime season in the 18-49 range for the first time in a decade, as numbers were up 13 percentage points from a year ago.

According to Nielsen, "The Blacklist" has averaged in the 2.6-2.8 range in the 18-49 in the final eight originals.

More "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers will be posted once they are available. The series is expected to air on NBC this autumn.
