Vitalii Sediuk, Brad Pitt's red carpet attacker, has been banned from all Hollywood events after he was fired from the TV network. But who is he?

Not many people know it but Vitalii Sediuk was actually a journalist for the Ukranian TV station 1=1 although he was fired on May 17 after sneaking underneath America Ferrera's gown during Cannes.

According to ABC News, Brad Pitt's red carpet attacker has interviewed the likes of Dita Von Teese, Barkhad Abri, Jared Leto and Ryan Seacrest.

"His style is mostly slapstick until he ups his pranks -- such as in the Pitt incident -- where he actually comes in contact and scares celebrities. Pranks with Pitt and Ferrera resulted in his arrest," ABC reported.

In a statement, Galyna Grubliak, spokeswoman for the network, said in a statement that the prank on America Ferrera at the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival "was Vitalii's personal initiative. The journalist did not report his plans to the channel's Editorial Office."

On Friday, he was charged with four misdemeanours and two counts governing conduct at sporting and entertainment events, reported People. Brad Pitt's red carpet attacker also pleaded no contest during his arraignment to unlawful activity.

He was also barred from staying away from Brad Pitt as well as red carpet events.

His lawyer, Anthony Willoughby, told the publication that Vitalii Sediuk's restraining order will be lifted in a year barring any similar incident.

The former TV journalist's antics have been widely reported starting in 2011 when he presented Madonna with hydrangeas at the Venice Film Festival, then he tried to smooch Will Smith in the mouth who slapped him as a result.

Last year, Brad Pitt's red carpet attacker stole the microphone away from Adele during the Grammy Award ceremonies, which earned him a three-year probation sentence. However, that did not stop him from hugging Bradley Cooper during the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
