Brad Pitt Opens Up On Red Carpet Attack By Vitalii Sediuk; ’12 Years A Slave’ Actor Thinks Former Ukranian TV Reporter Is Crazy?

Brad Pitt opened up on the red carpet attack by Vitalii Sediuk during the "Maleficent" premiere El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, as the "12 Years a Slave" actor thinks that the former Ukranian TV is crazy.

"I looked down and the nutter was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head -- not too hard -- but enough to get his attention, because he did let go," he told People in a statement. "I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses.

According to the narration of red carpet attack by Vitalii Sediuk, Brad Pitt said that he was at the end of the line signing autographs when he noticed out of the corner of his eye that somebone was diving over the barrier at him.

"I took a step back; this guy had latched onto my lapels," he said.

Vitalii Sediuk, meanwhile, told The Associated Press that he didn't mean anything and just wanted to hug Brad Pitt. He pleaded no contest to battery and unlawful activity at sporting or entertainment event.

After the red carpet attack by Vitalii Sediuk, the former Ukranian TV journalist was given a restraining order to stay away from Brad Pitt as well as any other Hollywood events. He was also sentenced to three years of probation and counseling for one year.

Brad Pitt said that he doesn't mind an exhibitionist but the red carpet attack by Vitalii Sediuk is giving wrong signals to fans who "have waited up all night for an autograph or selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd."

The "Fight Club" actor was with Angelina Jolie and their children, Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 5, during the red carpet attack by Vitalii Sediuk, The Hollywood Reporter said.
