Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande fight and jealousy rumors continue as the "iCarly" actress reportedly bashed her singer friend through social media.

According to HollywoodLife, Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande fight and jealousy rumors have supposedly been re-sparked when the former wrote on Twitter about a "past friend" who has a penchant for "drama and gossip."

However, somebody close to the actress claimed that the Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande fight and jealousy rumors are not true.

"As far as I know, I know the situation pretty well - they're not in a fight," the source said. "I really don't think [the tweet] is about Ariana, and I know they haven't had a falling out. They were still hanging out last week!"

"But I do know that there's probably a lot of jealousy there - they're young girls," the source added, adding that Jennette McCurdy "owned Nickelodeon" before Ariana Grande came along.

The J-14 teen magazine said the Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande fight and jealousy rumors was prompted when the former skipped the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards, then unfollowed Ariana Grande on Instagram and Twitter.

Both actress are starring in "Sam & Cat" but according to Classicalite, the two actresses might not be getting back anytime soon.

Jennette McCurdy posted on Twitlonger:

"I had this 'friend' ... I enjoyed her company because she was fun and energetic, but I had some reservations about how much I could trust her because she seemed to be a leech for drama and gossip."

"I decided the good outweighed the bad, so I continued hanging out with her for a few months until our friendship slowly fizzled out...Being around her took my identity because everything in her world became just that... 'Her world'."

Then Jennette McCurdy addressed her ex-friend: "I am officially dropping you as a friend. If I see you, I won't turn the other way and run (even though I want to). Instead, I'll just smile and end the conversation as quickly as possible, because no offense, but I don't want any of you rubbing off on me. Actually, that's pretty offensive. Oh well."
