Kimbra's new album "The Golden Echo" release date has been revealed! Kimbra's new album will drop on August 19th via Warner Bros. Records. According to Consequence of Sound, Kimbra's new album 2014 release date is August 19. The New Zealand pop singer earned global recognition for her 2011 hit with Gotye, "Somebody That I Used To Know".
"The Golden Echo" will include collaborations with: The Mars Volta's Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Dirty Projectors' Dave Longstreth,Foster the People's Mark Foster, Muse's Matt Bellamy, Flying Lotus, John Legend,Thundercat, and Bilal. Several songs were co-written with Silverchair's Daniel Johns.
Kimbra previously released a music video for "90s Music" from her new album, which premiered on Just Jared on June 3rd.
Slate called "90s Music" "an incredibly ambitious, impressive mix of genres."
