Chile will face off against Australia in a first round match of the Brazil World Cup 2014 tournament, pitting two Group B teams against each other.

Chile, ranked 14th in the world by FIFA, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

The Latin American team's coach Jorge Sampaoli has tried to make former coach Marcelo Bielsa's name recede in the collective public memory, The Eagle reports.

"We are obligated to get Chile to the 2014 World Cup," Sampaoli said, according to the site.

"I think the only way to be successful is by unifying players from the amateur level up. You have to try to help them to find love for the shirt, to enjoy the game instead of seeing it as just a duty."

Australia, ranked 62nd in the world, is expected to be the underdog of the match.

The team's manager Ange Postecoglou said success at the Brazil World Cup 2014 is a matter of belief.

''If you look in terms of recent form, they're [Chile] definitely the equal of the other teams [in the group],'' Postecoglou said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

''The way they're talking, their aspirations, they're looking to not just get through the group but they feel like they can do something in the tournament."
