Guns N Roses Reunion 2014: Slash Wants Axl Rose Apology Before Going On Stage With Bandmates! Will Rambunctious Rocker Give In?

One of the greatest bands of the late 80s to 90s, Guns n' Roses, is planning to stage a reunion this year. As always, when humongous rock egos have to converge, some conditions are in order.

Slash, the band's legendary guitarist, would not exactly rule it out, even though it appears difficult, He had a chat with Larry King:

"It's not something that any of us have reached out to each other and said that we wanted to do thus far. So, rather than be a pessimist and say, 'No, it'll never happen,' it's not like I'm harboring a lot of resentment.

However, in another interview with LA Daily News, Slash was more frank:

"All things considered, that would be a call I would be surprised to get. If that really happened, I would have to clean out my junk drawer, too, but I don't see it happening.

"But if it did happen, I would do whatever it takes to at least have a conversation about it."

He could not avoid a comparison with another singer that he toured with: "I guess you could say I've worked with some high-maintenance singers, but Ozzy is one of the most professional people I've ever met."

From these statements, we have a clue on some points that he was raising.

"Even back in the day, when he was out of control, one thing you could always count on with Ozzy was he would do the gig. It was never an issue. I can deal with all the craziness in the world as long as you do your gig. He's a bleeping machine."

Axl Rose retained the Guns N Roses name, but he has struggled big time. He called Slash a 'cancer' to the band, and he also skipped the Hall of Fame induction ceremony simply because he didn't want to join his former bandmates.

Tough call, but it would make a great story to see all of them onstage one last time. Let's hope it's not an illusion for this to happen.
