The Sims 4 release date was revealed during the E3 2014.

During EA's presentation of The Sims 4, game's executive producer, Rachel Franklin, revealed that official The Sims 4 release date is set for September 2. And months ahead of The Sims 4 release date, more and more updates and new information about the game are revealed.

As for some of the latest The Sims 4 updates, SimsVIP.com compiled a list of the Aspirations and Traits that were featured during a demo of the Create-A-Sim tool. Apparently, some of the aspirations in The Sims 4 offers more than 1 subcategory that players can choose from.

Below is the list of The Sims 4 aspirations seen during the E3 2014, together with bonus and reward traits, as posted on SimsVIP:

• Deviance - Bonus Trait: Dastardly - Dastardly Sims perform stronger and more successful mean interactions
• Aspiration Option #1: Public Enemy - This Sim wants to make enemies and be a famous criminal Reward Trait: Mastermind - Masterminds know just the right things to say to cause anger, sadness, and jealousy in their opponents.
• Aspiration Option #2: Chief of Mischief - This Sim is all about pranks and mayhem! Reward Trait: Tormentor - Tormentors can sabotage almost anything, be it an object, or another Sim's best efforts.
• Family - Bonus Trait: Domestic - Domestic Sims will see their familiar relationships grow stronger faster.
• Food - Bonus Trait: Essence of Flavor - Sims with Essence of Flavor make higher quality food and drink.
• Fortune - Bonus Trait: Business Savvy - Business Savvy Sims earn more money from their careers.
• Knowledge
• Love - Bonus Trait: Alluring - Alluring Sims are more successful at romance than others.
• Nature (Aspiration) - Bonus Trait: Collector - Collectors can find rare collectibles more often!
• Popularity

The post also noted that Aspirations in The Sims 4 can be changed anytime, as confirmed by SimGuruGraham.

According to The Sims 4 updates, there are new traits coming to the next iteration of the game. One of the traits that Simmers can pick is Art Lover. Sims with these characteristic will gain "powerful moodlets from viewing works of art and can Admire Art and Discuss Art in unique ways."

Also, another new trait in The Sims 4 is Snob and this kind of Sims "can critique work on low quality items, are bored by "low brow" television, and gain confidence around other Snob Sims."
