LG G Watch Price, Release Date: Specs Of Android Wear Powered Smartwatch Incl 1.65-inch LCD Display; Will Cost Less Than $200; Maybe Unveiled End Of June, Early July

LG G Watch price, release date: Specs of the Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the LG G Watch include a 1.65-inch LCD display with a 280 x 280 pixel resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 4GB of storage. The unit is expected to cost less than $200 and maybe unveiled by the end of this month or early July.

According to the website Modaco, the LG G Watch is expected to be released on July 7, about a week after the Google I/O event (June 25 and 26). The MSRP of the unit maybe less than the price of the Samsung Galaxy Gear Neo, which costs $169.99; pricing and availability of the LG G Watch has not been announced yet.

The potential competitor of the LG G Watch is the Moto 360, the price of which is expected to be around $249. Another upcoming smartwatch that may compete head to head with the LG G Watch is the HTC One Wear, also to be powered by Android Wear.

Specs of the LG G Watch was initially leaked by the world famous EV Leaks, saying that it will run on the Android Wear OS, will have a 1.65-inch LCD screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 4GB of storage. It will also have 4GB of RAM plus Bluetooth connectivity. Battery for the smartwatch is a 400 mAh Li-Po battery which is known to give at least 36 hours of standby time and charges less than 2 hours.

Dimensions of the wearable is said to be around 37.9x46.5x9.95mm and weigh 61 grams. It charges via micro-USB. The images that were initially floating around showing the wearable reveal that it also takes notes and notifications via e-mail and SMS. The gadget will support English, Spanish, French, Korean, and Chinese.

More leaks and speculations is expected on the LG G Watch as the end of June nears.
