Groudon, Kyogre Distribution Events Confirmed For Pokemon Art Academy As Fans Debate HM Usage For Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire

As the Hoenn Pokedex makes a comeback, new Pokemon distribution events have been announced to the honor the likes of Kyogre and Groudon.

Most fans know that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released this November, but before that, fans have a chance to enjoy the new spin-off title Pokemon Art Academy. This game teaches players how to draw iconic Pokemon characters.

And now, the first distribution events for the title will celebrate the announcement of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, by giving away templates for Groudon and Kyogre for Pokemon Art Academy.

According to Serebii, Groudon will be available in Japan from June 19 to June 25, July 3 to July 9, and July 17 to July 23. Kyogre will be available from June 26 to July 2, July 10 to July 16, and July 24 to July 30.

Be sure to take advantage of these distribution events if you are in Japan!

Meanwhile, fans continues to debate what will be included in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, including the usage of HMs.

"I hope they make Cut a TM just like what they did to Rock Smash," writes Afarr on PokeJungle. "I don't know why Cut is still an HM. It's annoying!"

Others, however, disagree.

"I'm pro HMs," adds EarthenWarrior. "It's a timeless classic in the Pokemon world. You encounter an obstacle, you look for the HM with the move to get past it, you get the badge to use it and then you progress. That's something I just couldn't live without."
