"It doesn't matter how I felt, I didn't do my job," Bauer said after allowing three runs in 5 1/3 innings. "I threw the ball well sometimes, and we scored enough to win and I didn't do my job."

Despite Ernesto Frieri's blowup Saturday night, Angels manager Mike Scioscia said he was not going to change the pecking order in the bullpen. Currently, Frieri is the closer with Joe Smith lining up as the setup guy.

"I don't think we're reassessing anything," Scioscia said. "I think that there will be times when Joe is going to be in the back end. There's going to be times when Ernie's back there. We're a better bullpen with that presence that Ernie can bring and that presence that [Joe] can bring."

Frieri entered Saturday's game in the ninth inning with a 5-1 lead to protect. He allowed all five Braves he faced to get a hit as he surrendered four runs to send the game into extra innings. The Angels won 11-6 in 13 innings.

"I think that a couple of times this year where things got away from him you've seen big innings," Scioscia said. "You've seen the three-four-five-run innings that obviously, there haven't been many of them if you think about it, but the ones that have been there have been really big."
