NBA Trade Rumors: Joakim Noah In Trade For Kevin Love? The Stakes Are Higher As The Bulls Are Willing To Go All In! Is This A Wise Move?

The NBA Trade Rumors are in fever pitch now and the biggest names in the maelstrom are Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony, not necessarily in that order.

Any team with championship aspirations are throwing everything including the kitchen sink at these two players who both profess that they want to win.

The Chicago Bulls is a team with a winning pedigree. They have constantly made the playoffs and always fell short. They keep fighting even without their best player and perhaps the best active coach in the NBA not names Popovich.

The Bulls aspirations started rationally. They were completing a package while choosing to keep their key players-a rational approach. But as the stakes got higher and more teams got involved, Chicago got more "bullish."

The latest buzz is that only Derrick Rose has become untouchable-which means even Joakim Noah is on the table! That was totally out of left field and some would dismiss that as a crazy idea. But the Bulls remember how they went for LeBron James in 2010 and ended up overpaying Carlos Boozer.

Now, they are trying to get rid of Boozer while LeBron James made the Finals every year and won two of titles. Now LeBron James could become a free agent again along with Melo and Love-they don't want to take scraps anymore.

From Hoops Rumors: "If the Bulls could somehow sacrifice Noah and some less talented players and end up with both 'Melo and Love, they'd probably do it if it were feasible, and that they're open to considering just about every possibility for their team suggests 'Melo and Love in Chicago isn't impossible. It would still be very, very much a long shot, though, since Noah and a whole heap of other salary would have to disappear for Chicago to even make 'Melo+Love mathematically possible."

They have the right idea though. Just like the stock market, timing is essential in NBA trades: "Noah, 29, is coming off a career year, and he's set to make $12.7MM next season on a contract that runs through 2015/16, so his value is probably at an all-time high."

The Bulls have a ton of assets that would be attractive to a team that would instantly plummet to rebuilding status after losing their star. Multiple first round draft picks and the rights to Nikola Mirotic paired with Boozer's expiring could suffice for Kevin Love. But if they want both Love and Melo-they need to pay the price and lose Gibson and Noah.
