Ok Go Does It Again With 'The Writing On The Wall' Music VIdeo! [VIDEO]

Ok Go has done it again, and created a music video that truly hurts your brain to watch. Before you watch the video for "The Writing's on the Wall" from the album Hungry Ghosts you need to do two things.

The first is gird your mind, because the entire video is based on optical illusions, and it will hurt your brain. You will need to watch the video several times to comprehend what you just saw. The second is realize they made this video using only one shot, meaning they never turned off the camera and didn't edit, they just shot this in one go.

Ok Go is known for making videos that end up being more popular than the songs, starting with the now iconic video for "Here We Go Again," which was shot on treadmills. Bassist Timothy Nordwind told mashable.com that the video for 'The Writing's on the Wall' "is all about illusions, perspective and perspective tricks," and went on to say that his favorite part is the very last shot, in which the name of the song gets revealed on the walls of the entire warehouse. Nordwind also shaved half  of his beard for the video for a special illusion.

Reactions to the video range from astonished to befuddled. "Forget playing tricks my eyes were playing magical illusions on my ass. This a very clever and a great video. I'm guessing it was all done in one take?"  Another commenter just said, "I'll be right back, I have to catch my brain".

Even people who aren't fans of the band are loving the video, "Not a big fan of the music, but this video has a lot of well crafted optical illusions in a live sequence. Quite amazing." Another commenter added, "Loving the use of perspective in OK Go's new music video. I'm not the biggest fan of their music, but their creative and imaginative videos always keep me interested and amused."
