According to TV Guide, the official synopsis for "Penny Dreadful" episode 7 reads: "Sir Malcolm, Ethan and Sembene do everything possible in an effort to save Vanessa."

"Penny Dreadful" stars Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton and Eva Green. As we previously reported, Showtime recently renewed the series for season 2 and has ordered 10 episodes, up from the eight-episode season 1, according to Deadline. "Penny Dreadful" season 2 will go into production later this year and will continue to shoot on location in Dublin for a 2015 launch.
