People get really excited about the new iPhone, the more Apple tries to keep things quiet, it seems, the more leaks and rumors will continue to pour out. The iPhone  6 release date has been accidentally released and then accidentally confirmed by Apple.

Apple is scheduled to unveil its next-gen iPhone handsets during a press conference later this summer. This announcement and will help piece together information on the new iPhone 6. Now, another one of those pieces has fallen into place.

In May, Deutsche Telekom carelessly revealed the iPhone 6′s release date. At the time, the Apple partner's call center staff was reportedly contacting customers to tell them that Apple's 2014 iPhone models would be released on September 19th in hopes of getting them to prepare to upgrade their current handsets.

Fast-forward to Wednesday, and another report now points to the very same date.

'G for Games' points us to a new report from Chinese-language Tencent , which verifies the date leaked by Deutshe Telekom, and claims that Apple is preparing to launch its completely redesigned iPhone 6 on Friday, September 19th. The report only mentions the 4.7-inch iPhone model, suggesting that the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may be released at a later time.

A recent report from Bloomberg suggested that both new iPhone 6 models might launch on the same date.

Also of interest, the report only mentions 32GB and 64GB models, suggesting that Apple might finally do away with the 16GB version now that some flagship Android phones with 32GB of storage are launching in the $650 range.

Tencent says that Apple's 4.7-inch iPhone 6 models will cost roughly $848 for the 32GB model, approximately $1,000 for the 64GB model.
