Nokia Lumia 930 Release Date: Flagship Device Coming Soon As Pre-Order Goes Live In Italy, Specs Incl. 5" Display, 20MP CarlZeiss Camera, WP 8.1 Version

In February, Nokia announced the Lumia 929 a.k.a. the Nokia Icon which is exclusively being offered by Verizon Wireless in the US.

In April, the Finnish manufacturer launched the Nokia Lumia 930, the international variant of the Icon which would also be available in other carriers in the US aside from Verizon. During the BUILD Conference, the Lumia 930 was spotted running Microsoft's newest version of Windows Phone - 8.1

However, almost two months after the announcement and still there are no updates when the flagship WP 8.1 smartphone will hit the market. The phone is absolutely taking a long time to be announced, and it will cost the company a significant number of consumers who are looking for a high-end Windows phone.

In comparison, Nokia's midrange offering, the Lumia 630 has already launched in several markets and its numerous variations have already infiltrated the market where it excels in the entry-level to midrange level as far as pricing is concerned.

A new report from GSM Arena reveals that the Nokia Lumia 930 may finally be nearing its international market release as a pre-order page has already gone live in Italy's Microsoft site.

In the report, the device should be available on July 10, so people should not wait any longer. That also goes for other markets in the EU which can all expect the Lumia 930 to arrive before July ends.

The Nokia Lumia 930 packs a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot so expansion would be impossible. Other specs include a 20MP CarlZeiss optics shooter at the back while a 2.1MP front cam is placed in front for selfies and Skype video calls.

In the report, the Lumia 930 is priced at €599 including taxes, so that means pricing in other markets should also be within that range.
