Is the Rob Kardashian love child rumors finally confirmed? The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star posted a tweet about spending July 4 with his son, then deleting it after.

On July 3, the Rob Kardashian love child rumors were fueled when he wrote: "Happy I got my son with me for the 4th tomorrow!! Can't wait to watch fireworks with my little man! Hope everyone is safe!"

The tweet was up for a few hours, according to Us Weekly, before he deleted the post.

Then in another tweet, he revealed the tweet about Rob Kardashian's love child was just a prank: "Those who know me know I play and I do NOT have a son. Y'all got my mama emailing me asking if I have a son lol goodness hahaha. GOODnight."

In January this year, Star magazine reported that it managed to talk to an insider who personally witnessed an interesting exchange between Rob Kardashian and his friends at his very apartment.

The insider claimed that one of Rob's friends noticed a teddy bear lying on the bed, at which point Rob said it was a present for his son.

However, it wasn't the first time Rob has brought up the subject himself. A few years ago, Rob tweeted:

"Bout to take time today to see the ones whom I never see. Love God. Love Family."

The mysterious tweet got a quick reply from Nicole Richie: "Like your son?"

Rob replied: "My son unfortunately doesn't stay in L.A. You know that. Don't remind me."

The Rob Kardashian love child rumors died down after the two friends claimed that the tweet, which was curiously deleted after the firestorm it created, was an inside joke.

However, in May of last year Rob again posted on Instagram: "Shout to to God ... Shout out Mom, shout out to my son's mom cuz she been holding me down since high school n shout out to my son Robert the Third. lol"

Radar Online also reported of Rob Kardashian's love child who was the result of the sock designer's fling with a woman who's based in Miami, Florida.
