‘Prometheus 2’ Spoiler Rumors: Cast Guy Pearce Returns For Flashbacks? Director Ridley Scott’s ‘The Martian’ Cause Of Sequel’s Delay?

"Prometheus 2" spoiler rumors are here and cast Guy Pierce is willing to return for the sequel should there be flashback scenes, as director Ridley Scott's "The Martian" is blamed for the delay in production for the sci-fi film?

"I'd love to go back and play that character again. To work for Ridley again, you know, he's great -- really wonderful to work for. So yeah, I'm very curious to see what he will do next with it," Guy Pearce revealed to IGN last month.

Collin Jones of MoviePilot  said that Guy Pearce reprising his character Peter Weyland was welcomed because she wasn't disappointed with his acting in the first film.

"However, the screen time that Pearce receives with the next film is something that is unknown as of right now. It all depends on how Ridley Scott decides execute the sequel. I've read places that it may only be in flashback sequences that Pearce will appear, but there are others that hope he makes an actual appearance in real-time for the movie," she wrote.

But she also said that no "Prometheus 2" spoiler rumors have revealed the plot for the sequel, particularly the origins story of the Engineers.

Last May, "Prometheus 2" director Ridley Scott was in Australia for "The Martian" starring Matt Damon.

According to Sydney Confidential, "Prometheus 2" director Ridley Scott touched down in Sydney without fanfare.

The publication said that the director is scouting for locations for his next movie "The Martian" and he will be assisted by Screen NSW. The film tells the story of an astronaut (possibly Matt Damon) who is stranded in a Martian colony.

News outlets, blogs and online community have been reporting "Prometheus 2" spoiler rumors but for now Ridley Scott is still mum on the filming of the sequel. However, Michael Fassbender did confirm there's going to be a sequel but he doesn't know when.
