Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Rumored Specs Incl. Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Processor W/ 3GB RAM, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat; 5.7” Super Amoled Display; Is It Going To Save Its Galaxy S5 Brother?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date: The upcoming Note 4 is expected to sport either Krait 450 (300MHz-2457MHz) CPU and Adreno 420 GPU or Exynos 5433 8 Core processor with ARM Mali-T760 GPU, or maybe even both, saying that they might release two versions. Said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, this upcoming handheld will run on the Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system.

The sales are out for the Samsung Galaxy S5. And the numbers are not good. This is the prime rumor for the early release of the Samsung Galaxy Note; the South Korean electronic giant needed a back-up that could salvage the low sales and negative feedback the Galaxy S5 has been receiving, according to Korean publication, News Tomato. The publication also mentioned that last year, the Galaxy Note 3 was also released a bit earlier to make up for the Galaxy S4’s low sales.

According to the Samsung4Note website, the Note 4, with the rumored 5.7-inch screen (2560 x 1440 resolution) is said to have a 16 Megapixel rear camera, and a 3.68MP at the front, with ISOCELL technology and 1080p video recording. Meanwhile, G4Games (via ETNews) reported that the Note 4 may sport a lesser 13 MP rear camera, but with optical image stabilization (OIS).

It is said the Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Note 4 by September, maybe even at the upcoming IFA trade fair in Berlin, Germany, said The Korea Times. Meanwhile, certain stakeholders of the South Korean company have declared that the device’s mass production has already begun.

At hindsight, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 offers a promising array of specs and features that can even offer a worthy battle against the near release of the iPhone 6. But the question remains: will the fourth generation Note series be enough to make up for the Galaxy S5’s poor sales?
