2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions: Kyrie Irving Recruiting LeBron! 'Uncle Drew' Claims 'We Got All The Help That You Need!'

The 2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions are taking an interesting turn as the Cleveland Cavaliers are seriously in the running to get LeBron James from the Miami Heat.

The Cavs are not pushovers anymore. They just signed Kyrie Irving to a max deal which makes him the face of the franchise. Now he has also volunteered to make the pitch to LeBron James.

One month ago, Kyrie was the big question mark for Cavs fans who were wary about being spurned again. However, at the very first day of free agency, Cavs executives came back to Ohio with the news that they have locked Uncle Drew, his 21 points and 6 assists and All-Star demeanor, to the Cavaliers for the next five years.

Now, they have a right to dream big, and they believe they have the best player in the world as their audience.

“Sources say that the Cavs' pitch made to Paul last week -- which they also hope to make this week to James in their own face-to-face meeting -- revolves around Kyrie Irving and the other young prospects they have in addition to the numerous options Cleveland possesses to add to the roster over the next year.

The second part of this pitch is what the Cavs hope will be the key selling point in getting James to choose them. Although several teams such as the Heat, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets have cap space to make moves this summer, the Cavs hope to show James how they have collected and created tools to continue adding into the next few years.”

The Cavs have the best collection of spring chickens in the league. They have three first overall picks with Irving, Anthony Bennett last year and Andrew Wiggins this year. They have young guys that they can trade and only one transaction away to offer the max contract outright.

The rumor persists that this is all a smokescreen and the King is going back to Miami anyway. However, if he’s really looking objectively, the Cavs are a great option.

And of course, it’s home.
