Katie Holmes showed a fearless side of her as she posted topless for Glamour magazine's August issue. Tom Cruise's ex wife was only clad in high-waisted jeans. While Katie Holmes dating questions are not directly discussed in the issue, the 33-year-old talked freely about parenting.

"Motherhood is the greatest gift. I didn't know how much love I had in me. It's overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of," said Holmes about her 8-year-old daughter Suri.

As a parent to a young girl, the Bobbi Brown ambassadress confessed that she has watched Disney's 'Frozen' a lot of times. She likewise admitted her penchant for preparing homemade meals for her daughter.

"Plain pasta with butter is a hit, chocolate-chip pancakes are a hit. I do a homemade chicken finger. That's a hit," she gushed.

Even if Holmes started acting at the early age of 17, she acknowledged her parents for reminding her the importance of humility. Such is the trait which she wants Suri to inherit.

"I started acting at 17 and had success at an early age, where all of a sudden people knew who I was. But my parents always treated me the exact same way at home and reminded me of gratitude. And that's been a grounding force," said the former 'Dawson's Creek' actress.

It was previously reported that one of the reasons for Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's divorce was Scientology. Holmes allegedly does not want her daughter to grow up with the principles of the religion.

"That was one of the assertions, yes," confirmed the 'Edge of Tomorrow' actor. Nonetheless, this does not mean that he will be leaving Suri.

"As I said, things change. Things change. Certainly what doesn't change is the love I have for my daughter, the fact that I didn't abandon her emotionally, physically, or otherwise. And in terms of how I feel about her in terms of the responsibility that I feel towards my child is not - is not waned in any way," he previously explained in his deposition.
