The controversy and the noise created after Chen's announcement of getting married with his pregnant girlfriend is getting more prominent as the days pass, and not only is the member affected but the whole group as well, following the demands of Korean EXO-Ls to EXO's agency, SM Entertainment to exclude Chen from any future activities of the group. Due to this, the leader of EXO, Suho, won't hold back and has sent his message to the EXO-Ls.

On the 16th of January, Suho has taken a photo of the EXO-Ls hand sign, or also known as the "L" sign. The leader of the group then posted it on his Instagram account story with a caption saying, "We are at the stage wherein words are not essential, and just a hand sign will do it all."

This post is simple but touches the fans that were still sticking with OT9 despite Chen's surprising announcement, and an eye-opener to those fans who already left that they can't tear EXO and true EXO-ls apart.

Meanwhile, EXO-L Ace Union members were making their move on how to kick out Chen from the group, wherein they recently released a statement about Chen's withdrawal. The points of the ACE Union were also stated, why Chen has to leave the group, and some of these were, "Chen's actions seriously undermined the group's image and caused severe fandom division and disruption."

One also wrote,"Without Chen's withdrawal, I can't give my full support to EXO with a pure heart. Many paid members who have substantial purchasing power in fandom are eager for Chen to leave." The group will be going to conduct a protest directly or indirectly through SM Entertainment; wherein a response is needed to be released on or before January 18.

Later on, a contradictory statement coming from EXO GLOBAL fans were released, and fandom organization consisting of international fans, and stated, "We, international EXO-ls who collectively made up the largest contributors to the profits of Exo in terms of export beyond fan club membership at this moment denounce any effort to expel any current member of EXO."

EXO GLOBAL pointed out that Chen's personal life is not directly associated with his life as an artist. Thus this should not affect anything nor anyone. In addition to this, they reminded everyone that despite EXO being a global idol, nothing should become a wall or hindrance for their gain or happiness, this includes having someone they like, such as a girlfriend or getting married. The organization is willing to release a counter-petition if any case about the expulsion of EXO's Chen will be issued.

On the other hand, SM Entertainment has not given any statement regarding this controversy, and CEO Lee Soo Man seems unbothered as he even participated in Suho's Musical show alongside Super Junior Kyuhyun, wherein, Suho and Lee Soo Man also captured a beautiful smile together. At the same time, the CEO patted his back and with Suho holding congratulatory flowers.

Suho posted this on his Instagram account, with a caption, "Thank you, Mr. Sooman Lee."
