Acting married can be good practice for getting married. Playing a married couple onscreen was such a positive experience for Choi Won Young and Shim Yi Young that they grew genuinely fond of each other.

After playing rivals who become husband and wife in the MBC weekend drama "One Hundred Year's Inheritance" the couple decided to date and recently announced their plans to marry.

Although Choi Won Young played Yoon Jae Ho, the Jeguk Company secretary and Yoon Chan Young's father, in the popular drama "The Heirs," his proposal was not a glamorous one.

His agency, Fantagio, told Star News that Choi Won Young proposed to Shim Yi Young with a ring and a handwritten letter.
