Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort dating chemistry will be seen on-screen as they team up for 'The Fault in Our Stars.' The day before the film opens in selected countries, the 20-year-old actor expressed his excitement on his Twitter account.

"Guys! Today is Wednesday! Which means tomorrow is the night before our starts and Friday this movie is out everywhere!!!!!! #tfioscountdown," he wrote before urging his followers to tweet their favorite quotes from the bestselling novel penned by John Green.

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort dating chemistry even earned them the name "Shansel." Prior to starring in 'The Fault in Our Stars' as cancer-stricken teenagers Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters, the two already worked together in the 'Divergent' series as siblings Tris and Caleb Prior.

In an interview with the Daily Beast, the 22-year-old actress talked about her admiration for her co-star: "We have such deep reverence and pride for one another. We're completely different in almost every way, but are very intrigued by each other's differences, so when Fault came around, there was a fault in Hazel and Augustus's stars, but there wasn't a fault in our stars because we had that deep respect for one another. In real life, I look at him with such admiration and such love, and when you apply that to the rules and regulations of what it is to be in love with somebody, the natural chemistry is able to exist."

Despite Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort dating speculations, the 'Spectacular Now' actress remains single. Elgort, on the other hand, appears to be in a relationship with his high school sweetheart, dancer Violetta Komyshan.

Elgort, however, does not fancy the idea of publicizing his relationship as per NY Post: "There's a part of your life that needs to be your own. I don't know why who I'm in love with needs to be public knowledge."
