"Drop Dead Diva" cast Brooke Elliott is reportedly ready to get the Best Comedy Actress from the Emmys for her portrayal in the Lifetime series as co-star Jackson Hurst and Stacy Stas' wedding is confirmed.

Ralph Galvan wrote for Gold Derby that it's time to give "Drop Dead Diva" cast Brooke Elliott her due for her work in Lifetime's comedy series before the network finally pulls the plug on the show.

He likened the case of the "Drop Dead Diva" on "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd" in 1998 when the show was in danger of being cancelled yet back then, star Blair Brown earned the Emmy nod for comedy actress for a cable network, which paved the way for successive nominations outside of free TV.

"You'd think Emmy would pay attention to the cable outlet that started it all when making its picks of the best, but that doesn't seem to be the case," he said. "A huge injustice to Elliott's great performances week after week."

Galvan said that "Drop Dead Diva" cast Brooke Elliott's performance of a model trapped in a lawyer's body "seems effortless."

Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported that Brooke Elliott's co-star Grayson Kent married actress Stacy Stas in San Juan Capistrano in California on June 6. The intimate ceremony was attended by their close friends and family, a rep for the actor told the publication.

"Stas wore a Monique Lhuillier gown and a handmade head piece by Janie Baltzer. She was escorted by her father and was joined by her sisters as her maids of honors. Jackson and his groomsmen donned Vera Wang suits," Us reported.

The Grayson Kent and Stacy Stas wedding wasn't all serious, however, as they walked down the aisle to the "Raiders March," the official "Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark" anthem, after saying both their "I dos."

"Drop Dead Diva" cast Jackson Hurst also told Us: "I've never been more excited for any other day in my life than I was for my wedding day."
