One Direction's Liam Payne took to Twitter to defend his relationship with girlfriend Sophia Smith from fans who questioned his feelings since getting back together after their recent break up.

Over the weekend, a One Direction fan wrote to Liam Payne on Twitter: "Why did Liam give Sophia a shoutout. Nobody cares"

Liam responded: "I do ;)"

Another Directioner wrote: "Liam and Sophia's relationship is so weird bc he draws so much attention to it but there's no way he's as in to her as he was with Danielle."

Liam wrote back on Twitter: "@lucieieieie and the person with the most far away from the truth comment goes too..."

Maybe One Direction fans will think first before tweeting, now that there's a risk Liam Payne will fire back if you mention his girlfriend Sophia Smith and their getting back together.

As we previously reported, it was confirmed that Liam Payne and Sophia Smith were dating again after the One Direction singer posted an Instagram photo of the two of them together. Liam and his girlfriend were also pictured leaving One Direction's hotel in Manchester recently, confirming that the 1D singer and his lovely lady are back together!

Last month, #PAYZERISBACK started trending on Twitter, leading fans to believe that Payne was back with his ex girlfriend Danielle Peazer. However, these recent cases of PDA are shutting down those rumors and confirming that Sophiam is back for good.

Liam Payne dated Danielle Peazer for two and a half years. Soon after their break up, the 20-year-old One Direction singer started dating Sophia Smith in July 2013. They dated for eight months before breaking up last month. Looks like they overcame their obstacles and are happily dating again!
