Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban Divorce Rumors Prompted By ‘American Idol’ Judge’s Relapse? Singer Admits ‘Grace Of Monaco’ Actress Staged An Intervention

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce rumors might have been prompted by "American Idol" judge's relapse, as the singer recently admitted that the "Grace of Monaco" actress staged an intervention to save him.

"I was very, very blessed to have Nic call an intervention on me. I had a tight group of friends around me for the intervention. And off I went," Urban said in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

"I didn't give a s*** about anything except turning a corner in my life and doing whatever it took for that," he said, which might have staved off the Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce.

Nicole Kidman scheduled an intervention following their July 2006 wedding and he entered Betty Ford Center in October. Eight years earlier, Keith Urban already entered rehab after his bouts with alcohol and drugs dating back to the 1990s when he was still a member of The Ranch band.

He was sober when they were married, but he fell off the wagon when Nicole Kidman was filming in Kosovo, ABCNews said.

Tabloids have been reporting of an impending Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce allegedly because of his constant flirting, busy schedule as well as her frustrations over her fledging career.

However, the couple were snapped in the recent CMT Music Awards in Nashville engaging in a lot of PDA, which debunked the reports of their marriage being in danger. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban already have four children together-two of the kids she adopted with ex Tom Cruise.

Keith Urban told Rolling Stone: "I have a wife who is just from another planet. She is so celestial. I felt like I was just sitting dormant, and she came along and I came to life. I was born into her, so who I am now was waiting the whole time."
