Wonder Girls Sun Gives a Lecture about Hallyu at George Washington University in U.S.

Girl group Wonder Girls' leader Sun appears at a U.S. university to give a lecture about Hallyu.

Wonder Girls' leader Sunye has made her way to the U.S. to spread the word of the Hallyu wave.

The Republic of Korea Embassy and the Korean Cultural Industry Foundation has come together to hold a forum at Washington D.C's George Washington University Jack Morton Auditorium to spread the word of the 'Hallyu wave'. 

With the theme, 'Global Hallyu Forum-Take a ride on the Hallyu Wave', Wonder Girls Sun has been chosen to speak at the forum talk about her experience of being a part of this Hallyu wave as well as the current state as to where the Hallyu wave is going.

There have been many other K-Pop artists who have spoken at events and festivals such as girl group 2NE1, who have spoken at the Cannes Film Festival.

The most well known artists right now who is spreading the word of K-Pop and Hallyu would be 'world star' Psy. With his "Gangnam Style" video going viral, he has exposed the world to K-Pop.

Asia's 'star' BoA also had a huge role in spreading the word of K-Pop as she was the first K-Pop artist to go overseas to Japan and promote her music.

Aside from Sun, there will be other speakers including authors, producers and others who have experienced and worked with the Hallyu.

Sun will speak at the forum on October 16 at the Jack Morton Auditorium.
