SE7EN-Big Bang-2NE1-Psy-GD-Epik High...6 Home Runs for YG

It seems like every artist YG puts out, they've been hitting home runs.

YG Entertainment has put out 6 artists this year. Se7en in February, Big Bang in February and June, 2NE1 in July, Psy in July, G-Dragon in September and Epik High in October. All of these teams hit the number 1 spot or in the top 3 at the least.

The beginning of these 'home runs' started in February with singer Se7en. His mini album title song, "Even Though i Can't Sing" ranked number 3 on the Melon Monthly Chart.

Big Bang took the baton next with their 5th mini album, Alive. Their song "Blue" ranked number 1, "Fantastic Baby" at number 4, "Bad Boy" at number 5 and "Love Dust" at number 8.

Big Bang continued in June with their special album, STILL ALIVE. Their song "Monster" was number 2 and "Still Alive" at number 12.

2NE1 came next in July with their single, I Love You, and ranked number 2 on the July Music Chart.

YG's biggest 'home run' was in July when Psy released his 6th album Part 1. His title song, "Gangnam Style" ranked number 6 and moved up to number 1 in August. However, his popularity did not stop there. He ranked number 1 on the U.S. iTunes Single Chart and ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Main Single Chart.

G-Dragon came out in September with his second solo mini album. His song, "That XX" ranked number 4, his title song, "Crayon" at number 6 and "Missing You" at number 12.

Most recently, Epik High made their comeback in October, making it their comeback after 3 years. Their title song, "It's Cold" ranked number 1 on various music sites such as Melon, Mnet and others.

This is not the end of the YG line up. 2NE1 and Taeyang's solo album is to be released in November. YG's newest girl group will be debuting next year in January as well. It seems that YG's status in the music industry has been very successful this past year.
