miss A Suzy Reveals Embarrassment of her 'Nation's First Love' Title

Suzy of miss A shared that her nickname, 'Nation's First Love', that she gained from her role in the film, "Introduction to Architecture," was merely because of her "image from the film."

Suzy shared during a recent interview with OSEN, "I didn't expect that the movie would do so well. My fan base became more diverse, but I didn't know I was so lucky. I'm thankful for the embarrassing title of 'Nation's First Love', but it's only from the image from the movie. I will work harder to live up to the expectations of everyone."

She shared that even though she will continue her acting career, she still enjoys being a singer more. She said, "Even when I was acting, I was happy to perform on stage whenever I got a chance. I was disappointed that I didn't have much time to practice since I am still just beginning my path as a singer with many things left to learn. I realized how difficult it is to carry out two different careers."

Suzy is making a comeback today releasing miss A's new album, Independent Women Pt. III. She described the title song, "I Don't Need a Man" as "a song for women that are living independently by themselves to have pride in their work, whether they make a lot or little."
