Rain Set to Appear Before Military Disciplinary Committee

Singer Rain who has stirred up different issues because of the dating scandal with top actress Kim Tae Hee. Among them is accusation to have flouted military service rules.

The defense ministry on Thursday has set the singer to make an appearance next week.

According to the ministry spokesman Kim Min Seok, "However, he is not expected to land in jail."

The 30-year old singer is a little over halfway through the two-year military service as an 'entertainment soldier' appearing in military-run TV and radio programs aimed at boosting morale.

The high-profile celebrity couple's high excitement was tempered by questions over how the couple managed numerous dates over the past four weeks. Also a tabloid picture of the couple showed the singer driving a private car in military uniform and not wearing his army beret.
