Former Lakers coach Phil Jackson can be added to the list of people who aren't pleased with being named dropped in Kendrick Lamar's verse for Big Sean's new song "Control."

The 67-year-old retired basketball player and coach had to chime in after getting word of Lamar's following lyrics:

"Who the f**k y’all thought it’s supposed to be?
If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin’ me
I’m uncoachable, I’m unsociable."

The 26-year-old rapper might be referring to the time when the Hall-of-Fame coach called Kobe Byrant "uncoachable" during his initial try at running the Lakers, as the Los Angeles Times recalls. When Jackson came back for a second stab at the job, the team won two more championships, making it a total of five championships under the retiree's supervision.

If this was what the "Poetic Justice" rapper was referencing, then Jackson could've had a reason to retaliate as he did via Twitter.

"@kendricklamar it's okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let's just call it mentoring," tweeted Jackson like a person who has some experience dealing with the arrogant.

This most likely isn't the last we will see of responses to Kendrick's "Control" verse as follow rapper Joel Ortiz just released a diss track called "Outta Control."
