Minecraft Xbox 360 Update: Release Date Days Away? TU12 Reaches Microsoft For Final Certification Approval

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition's Update 12 has been submitted to Microsoft for final approval, Polygon reports, leaving fans wondering if it will be available to gamers around the world within a few days.

4J Studios has frequently mentioned that the final certification process normally takes one to two weeks and that once bug testing is completed, the update will be released.

The developer also confirmed the final list of changes in the game's next title update, which includes maps with double the build height, EuroGamer reports.

NPC villagers can now have babies and you'll be able to decorate your house with the disembodied heads of enemies in Creative Mode while adding in support for texture packs, which will be available separately via the in-game store, EuroGamer also reports.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is implementing its final testing phase but an official release date has still not been announced amidst growing buzz over the trial version of the game's mash-up pack.
