Why Lebanon Levi Smashed Up An SUV With A Baseball Bat On 'Amish Mafia' Season 2 Premiere

"Amish Mafia" is back...to mixed response. In the season premiere, Lebanon Levi smashed up an SUV with a baseball bat, further proving his staunch refusal to keep technology out of the Amish community.

Lebanon's steadfast hold on Amish principles, of course, now includes violence-but that may be partly TV drama.

The Amish Mafia season 2 premiere showed a man who was selling prepaid cell phones, tablets and laptops to the Amish youth from the back of his car. Levi sent out Caleb, one of his lackeys, to take care of the guy. And Caleb did so...using a baseball bat.

"You're not allowed to do this! You know that!" Caleb screamed "The Amish community doesn't appreciate it. Lebanon Levi doesn't tolerate it. Guess what? They're not going to f*cking buy it anymore." At that, Caleb started throwing the electronics out of the man's car.

After that, Caleb forced the terrified vendor back into the SUV thanks to the bat, then smashed up the car. At the end of the melee, the windshield, a side window, and the tail light were all smashed.

Examining his handiwork, Caleb said, "What are you going to do?"  He added,"You going to f*cking leave? Why are you still here?"

Amish Mafia season 2 critics thought the scene was a little extreme. USA Today's Robert Bianco said, "Odds are the [show] will either make you pray for Shark Week's return --- or increase your donation to PBS," he wrote.
