Amanda Bynes Loses Legal Rights As Mother Gains Conservatorship: 'Significant Improvement' Despite PTSD And Anger Issues

Amanda Bynes has temporarily lost her rights as her mother gains conservatorship during the hospital stay.

"We are deeply concerned that Amanda poses a substantial risk to herself, to others, and to property based on recent events in her life," says the official filling by Richard and Lynn Bynes.

According to Sky News, the conservatorship over Amanda Bynes will be in effect until September 30, a relatively short one compared to Britney Spears.

"Amanda can't make important decisions regarding her finances and welfare, but her parents can't either," says a source.

"Everything still needs to go through Amanda lawyer and the judge."

Meanwhile, Amanda Bynes continues to be treated while being on psychiatric hold for 30 days.

"Amanda has made significant improvements, she is doing better than she was," says a source to Fox News.

"There are no drug problems involved, it's all mental. She has deep anger and PTSD, which tripped a psychotic episode... She is very ill, but manageable. Amanda genuinely wants to get better and has wanted to get better for some time."

Reportedly, the 27-year-old has shown signs of remorse, even showing tears for her situation.

"While she is doing much better, Amanda needs to be monitored. She is on heavy anti-psychotic drugs and that requires constant medical observation. She wasn't able to attend the hearing on Friday because at this point in treatment, she should not be moved."
