Glee Season 5: Lea Michele On Cory Monteith Tribute Episode – Actress Has Final Say, Still Undecided Following Emotional 2013 TCA Speech

Sources confirmed, Lea Michele, 26, will have the final say on the special tribute episode of "Glee" Season 5 dedicated to Cory Monteith, the actress' on and off partner.

According to US Weekly, the actress, portraying Rachel Berry in "Glee", decided to have the death of Cory's character in the show [Finn] dealing directly with drugs.

One source reportedly said to US Weekly, "Lea wants it to reflect the truth, to warn people what can happen." The actress hopes to help others by sharing the possible outcomes of drug abuse.

The special tribute to the late actor will air on the third episode of "Glee" Season 5. Ryan Murphy, creator and producer of the show, will write the episode.

Lea Michele is said to be talking directly with Ryan Murphy, giving her insights for the tribute. A source told Hollywoodlife.com, "The meetings are lengthy and Lea is a part of them to make sure everything is just right."

"The producers are still going back and forth on what they want to do and clearing music for his tribute," the source added.

The source further added, "But most of all, Glee's creative team is looking to Lea to give the final word on decisions that are being made for this season's third episode, which will be an emotional tribute to Cory."

Despite the heartbreak that Lea Michele is currently undergoing, she remains strong. The actress recently attended the "2013 Teen Choice Awards" and gave a heartbreaking acceptance speech dedicated to the late actor.

"Glee" Season 5 started recording and filming scenes for the upcoming season of the hit TV show. Latest season will air on September 26 on Fox.
