Lisa Robin Kelly Died: 'That '70s Show' Star Dies In Sleep From Cardiac Arrest While In Rehab, Cleaning Up Her Alcohol Problems, Which Eric Forman's T.V. Sister Was In And Out Of Jail From

Lisa Robin Kelly died in her sleep Wednesday when the 43-year-old "That '70s Show" star had checked herself into rehab for alcoholism.

On "That '70s Show," Lisa Robin Kelly played Laurie Forman, the sister of the main star of the show, Eric Forman, which was played by Topher Grace. She died after voluntarily checking herself into rehab.

After "That '70s Show," Lisa Robin Kelly didn't have any major network roles like she had on the sitcom that lasted eight seasons on FOX. She went into cardiac arrest Wednesday and died, according to her agent.

"Unfortunately Lisa Robin Kelly passed away last evening. Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years," her manager Craig Wycoff told FOX News.  "I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. Last night she lost the battle."

Kelly has had over 20 appearances in other T.V. shows, but only was a mainstay on "That '70s Show." She was a cheerleader in "Jawbreaker" and in recent years, only appeared in two short-films.

Kelly's estranged husband, Robert Gilliam, beat her last May to obtain residual money from her show, sources told TMZ. He was convicted of domestic battery last month and sentenced to three years of probation. He also served 35 days in jail for the beating.

It was Kelly's new boyfriend that brought her to rehab. She has been in and out of rehab, trying to kick her problems with alcohol.

On June 23, Kelly was arrested for a suspected DUI when law enforcement responded to a call about a parked car blocking a lane of traffic on the 5 freeway and she failed a field sobriety test. Prior to that, last November, Kelly and her 61-year-old husband Robert Joseph Gilliam after responding to a disturbance at their home. Both were charged with assault and released on bond.

In 2010, Kelly was arrested for driving under the influence, which she pleaded guilty and had one year of supervised probation.

In March of 2012, Kelly was arrested on a felony charge of corporal injury upon a spouse, and was released on $50,000 bail. The charge was based on a complaint filed by her ex-boyfriend, John Michas. She later made public statements saying that she was the one who had been assaulted, and denied Michas' claim that she assaulted him. No charges were filed.
