‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Spoilers: Episode Titles 1 - 11 Revealed, ‘The Locket’ Premiere Air Date September 23; Ted Will Let Go Of 'Wrong Girl' To Be With 'The Right Girl'

"How I Met Your Mother" season 9 episode titles from episode 1 through 11 has been released, but mysteriously the title of episode 10 has not been given to the public. The premiere air date has also been revealed.

The episode titles, as reported by SpoilerTV, according to Fashion & Style, are as follows:

Episode 1: The Locket

Episode 2: Coming Back

Episode 3: The Broken Code

Episode 4: Last Time In New York

Episode 5: The Poker Game

Episode 6: No Questions Asked

Episode 7: Knight Vision

Episode 8: The Lighthouse

Episode 9: Mom and Dad

Episode 11: Rehearsal Dinner

Fashion & Style reports that the season 9 premiere, "The Locket," will air on Monday, September 23 at 8pm EST in a special hour-long episode. The title refers to the locket that Robin (Cobie Smulders) buried in Central Park as a child in a Season 8 flashback.

Cristin Milioti plays Ted's (Josh Radnor) wife's character. TVLine reported in May that Milioti will be a major character in the final season, joining the show as a series regular instead of in a guest or recurring role, IB Times reports.

"How I Met Your Mother" co-creator Carter Bays said that viewers will become "much better" acquainted with Milioti's character, who will be playing the bass in Robin and Barney's wedding band.

Bays said the ninth season tells the story of "the longest wedding weekend ever," as the whole season takes place during Robin and Barney's wedding.

The episode will reportedly address the on-again, off-again relationship between Ted and Robin, Fashion & Style reports.

"Ultimately, this is the story of Ted letting go of the wrong girl so he can be with the right girl," Bays said.
