‘Parks And Recreation’ Season 6 Spoilers: Rashida Jones And Rob Lowe Characters Will Get Married? Or Will Ron And Diane Have A Wedding?

"Parks and Recreation" season 6 will feature a wedding, but which couple will get married? Will it be Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) and Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe), before they exit the series?

"I will personally guarantee that there will be a wedding this season, that some couple will get married," executive producer Mike Schur told TVGuide.com

We know that Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Adam Scott) got married last season, and April (Aubrey Plaza) and Andy (Chris Pratt) are also already married, so this eliminates them. This leaves a few other options, but most plausibly Ann and Chris, as they are leaving the series in Episode 13. A wedding would be a great way to happily have them exit "Parks and Recreation." They are trying to have a child together.

"Any time you're having a child with someone, or trying to, marriage is somewhere on the table, but their relationship has never been traditional," Schur said.

Every viewer likely remembers that awkward time Ann was unaware that Chris had broken up with her, and continued to think they were a couple. Talk about "never been traditional."

However, another possibility is Ron (Nick Offerman) and Diane (Lucy Lawless). Diane found out she was pregnant in the season finale, which would also make them likely candidates for an upcoming marriage, TV Guide reports.

But Schur warned viewers that guessing who will hear wedding bells soon isn't very straightforward.

"They're in a similar position to Chris and Ann," Schur said about Ron and Diane. "Ron is very single-minded and very passionate about what he's passionate about. He's very definitive in his actions and I think that over the course of this season, you'll see that play out."

Schur then said not to narrow down speculation to just these two couples, noting that whoever does walk down the aisle, "it will be a couple that makes sense," TV Guide reports.

"Parks and Recreation" returns for Season 6 on Thursday, Sept. 26 on NBC.
