Glee Season 5 Spoilers [VIDEO]: Demi Lovato Joins Lea Michele For New York Arc As New Trailer Ignores Cory Monteith Death

After the death of Cory Monteith, "Glee" season 5 is preparing for its return, with spoilers and a new trailer to prepare us for what's to come.

With a veteran "Glee" cast members gone or leaving, the Hollywood Reporter confirms that "The X Factor" judge Demi Lovato will come on to season 5 in a major arc.

Reportedly, [SPOILERS] Lovato will join Lea Michele and Naya Rivera in New York as a struggling artist, and will also have interactions with Adam Lambert's character.

Demi Lovato will appear in the second part of the Beatles tribute episode on October 3, and her season 5 role will last 6 episodes.

And while fans are waiting for "Glee" season 5, a new teaser for the season is causing quite the stir.

Although no spoilers have been revealed in the teaser which uses all old footage, the tone is just as peppy and fun as it's always been, despite the recent passing of Cory Monteith.

So far, fan reactions have been divided on the "Glee" season 5 teaser.

"Is anyone else in that weird place of being excited and sad for this at the same time?" writes Youtuber Bonnie Packer.

"I love 'Glee' and I always will, but it breaks my heart to think about the fact that we'll never see him in the show ever again. But as Lea said, we'll get through this together and he'll stay in our hearts forever."

And speaking Lea Michele, it looks like the songstress is moving on from Cory Monteith's death with great aplomb, as shown in her Instagram photo.

Currently, there are no major spoilers on how the Cory Monteith tribute episode will affect Lea Michele's character, Rachel, but "Glee" season 5 will definitely enter new territory.
