Cara Delevingne Modeling Career Ditched For Studio Time? [Watch] Her Sing 'Sonnetanz' With Will Heard

Recently Cara Delevingne took a break from her modeling career to spend sometime in the studio singing "Sonnentanz" (Sun Don't Shine) with musician Will Heard.

Heard's dancy Klangkarussel version of "Sonnetanz" launched on iTunes last week and has already made it to number 3 on the UK singles chart, according to Modelinia.

Now, Heard wants to help the 21-year-old model unveil her vocal talents by making an acoustic and soulful rendition of the song.

With friends like Rita Ora and Rihanna, it is safe to say Delevingne is heavily connected in the music industry. So why didn't she ask one of her singing besties for their assistance? Well, her collaboration with Heard was way overdue since the two have known each other for years.

“I’ve known Cara since we were both 14 or 15 through mutual friends. Her vocal is really understated and what she does with it is unique," said Heard. "Not what you would typically expect. Also, her guitar skills are ridiculously good and she’s great fun to jam with.”

Despite her expertise in walking the runway, Cara has experience in stepping up to the mic. Along with doing a playful duet with Ora, the Burberry model's voice could be heard singing "I Want Candy" in a Katie Grand and Hogan video collaboration.

These two performances still can't compare to the latest musical union she accomplished with Heard. Listen to their version of "Sonnentanz" below.
