American Idol Judges To Invite Dr. Luke? Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban Still Rumored To Be In Negotiations

"American Idol" season 13 is looking to be in flux more than ever, now with a new name being included in the judges panel discussions: Dr. Luke.

Real name Lukasz Gottwald, music producer Dr. Luke is reportedly in negotiations to join the "American Idol" judges panel for its 2013 season.

Despite this being unconfirmed, Deadline reporting on this news gives the judges rumor some credence.

Still, it seems the "American Idol" judges panel is no closer to being decided than when the summer began, as Fox chairman Kevin Reilly reveals that all the rumored judges candidates have been in talks for the panel.

With names such as will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert, it seems, however, that Dr. Luke, Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban are the most likely candidates for the judges spots.

According to E! Online, Jennifer Lopez's beau Casper Smart accidently let it slip that J.Lo is returning to the judges panel during an interview about his new show "A Step Away."

"Returning to 'American Idol' makes sense for Jennifer this season," says a source.

"As the show's schedule will allow her to focus on new film and TV projects. And, of course, her twins are starting school this year and she will have time for her family."

Keith Urban's return was announced during the 2013 Summer TCA Press Tour, and he is the only judge from last season to do so.

"I will confirm one thing: That Keith is going to return to the show," said Fox network president Kevin Reilly.

"Keith did a great job last year, the fans really liked him. With a new panel, you are going to see that Keith is a really funny guy."
